We're looking for a Breakfast Cook and kitchen helper to work mornings in our busy kitchen providing our guests with the quality of breakfast preparation and presentation they expect from the Greyhound Hotel.

This is a part-time position, working early mornings, including weekends so you must be able to demonstrate a flexible and hard-working attitude. You also need to be reliable, friendly, and able to work as part of a team. There may be occasions when your assistance in the evenings is required.

Your main duties will include:

• Food preparation
• Cooking breakfast
• Plating up
• Breakfast bar preparation
• Other food preparation as required
• Cleaning working station in adherence to health and safety and food hygiene standards

To fulfil this role effectively and efficiently you will need to be able to do the following:

• Be compliant with both Food Hygiene and Food Safety requirements
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications, and prepare all food items as directed
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with other general kitchen duties as requested
• Be customer-facing when required

You will be working with our established and friendly team at The Greyhound and whilst training can be provided, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their previous food preparation and cooking experience.

Hours: 15 - 20 per week.

We’re looking for a freelance Payroll Clerk who can also do some administration tasks, one day a week (Monday). Ideally, you’re already doing this for other clients and you have spare capacity.

We would like you to work from the office at The Greyhound in Lutterworth.  Immediate start.

• Maintain accurate employee payroll records using Sage including collecting employee time data, calculating wages, holiday pay and pension contributions, deducting taxes and other statutory payments, and issuing payslips
• Ensure all payroll processes comply with UK employment laws
• Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and HMRC
• Other admin duties as required
• Hours – Monday
